With the help of my new passport pages, Josh, Annetta, Scoutt and I landed in Singapore at around 3:30pm on Monday. We had less than 36 hours to explore the island, city/country and we hit the ground running.
Food stalls, big buildings, pretty bridges, mass malls, crazy markets and CLEAN trains. Singapore was a bit of a blur.
Annetta and Josh spent Tuesday exploring one of the smaller islands and Scoutt and I did the full immersion urban experience. My knees and back crapped out on me so we spent a lot of time on the SMRT watching the world go by outside the window.
We all met up for a disporting and stomach up-setting Indian meal on Boat Quaty – the Fisherman’s Wharf of Singapore.
4am on Wednesday we parted ways, saying good-bye to a very groggy Annetta and heading to the airport.
